We are staying in the Plaza just south of Dublin at Tallaght and the big glazed breakfast room affords lovely views of the Wicklow mountains and Watergate Park teeming with wildlife , herons fishing included plus all the regular waterfowl’s.
The busy dual carriageway is under the glorious view so you overlook it, yesterday we spotted a series of 60’s fully equipped Rally cars, the mini had a period roof rack with two complete wheels onboard.

Off to Kilkenny today the long haired Brigadier tells me for 4 nights touring the hills.
I leave the destination routes and accommodation to her as she loves the research and I’d just head off unbooked 🤣 and our days of sleeping in the car have passed 😎
