The boat looks like being a Hanse 31 footer because with the mainsheet in front of the wheel and a self tacking jib I should be able to sail her myself without having to do any wandering about the decks - my balance isnt what it once was. The deal is nearing completion, just a haggle over a few bits of kit that dont work.
If that goes through I will start looking for a car though its far from a priority. I would prefer another motorbike but that would cause some family problems and at 81 it doesnt really make much sense. But bikes like boats are really addictive.
