Chaps, I have noticed recently a bit more ' chatter' from the engine than I have noticed in the past. The engine is functioning well and there are no concerns, however the 'chatter' is noticeable under load at @ 3,500 revs.
It is certainly emanating from the top of the engine - very much like tappet rattle.
In normal running( not loaded) the engine performs well and makes a great sound, perhaps it is just a characteristic of the Ford Duratec engine.
Has anyone else hd similar experience?
