Just re-reading the OP - years are not so important, particularly with older Morgans. The main thing to look out for is condition.
I've seen superb examples, more than 30 years old and I've seen rather ropey ones at less than half that. And mine, somewhere in between (getting a bit tatty around the edges - bit like myself
).
Once you've done your reading, badgered the local (and not so local) Mog owners - and it doesn't take any real badgering, believe me, then go visit some of the specialist dealers, they're all helpful and would rather you had the car to suit you, than just sell you anything.
And the final comment - the car will pick you (just like a cat)
