Can anyone measure the length of the mounting bracket that affixes to the doors. My older car has quite long brackets comapred to some I've seen and as the ratchet mechanism on the driver's side is pretty stuffed I need to replace the base section (might as well go for some mirrors with better rearward visibility at the same time...
).
