Having assembled outside Guildford Cathedral this morning at about 9.00am, we moved of in bright sunshine in a convoy of about 30 cars. The cars ranged from 2 Morgans (one being mine passengered with my son Josh) to a number of Ferraris, Astons, TVR, Sunbeam Alpine,Stingray and various other cars the oldest of which was a 1929 Lagonda. The special 007 Exhibition at the National Motor Museum was our eventual destination and I can well recommend it. However shortly after hitting the A3 south of Guildford there was some jossiling for places (thank God for a light car with a powerful engine!)as we had no problem with keeping up. The most exciting/exhilerating part of the whole trip was being behind the Ferrari and the Ford GT as we went into the new Hindhead Tunnel.Josh captured only a little of the excitement and roar of what was a really deafening gutsy moment
