As I had ordered the two-eared wheel nuts for my soon to come 4/4, I informed myself about the legal situation in Austria.
(All that follows now is valid for new cars. Oldtimers are excepted.)
They are not legal on the 4/4 but are on cars with wider wheels as the spinners don't protrude from those wider wheels.
(When I come so close to a pedestrant that my spinners hurt him, the chance is great that I already ran him over... )
Also the wood rimmed Moto-Lita is not road-legal on new cars. The danger of severe injuries is too big, says the EU.
Yeah, sure, but motorcycles are still legal, so what?!?
My car will nevertheless be equipped with both, as far as I know the police does not care on a Morgan, they want to talk about the car not check all parts and bits. They will check on baseball-capped dicks in their spoiler-covered Golfs not nice lads in proper british motors.
