V12 E is a great choice....built for exactly that, a great tourer but not an out and out "sports car" for bombing around in.
PAS and Auto if you desire. My Brothers business is E Types and he is currently restoring a V12 from ground up and modernising the mechanicals with Fuel Inj etc and I thing the customer is spending circa Ł180k.
V12's are rising but not as fast as the early cars, they're a different market and for some its the only E.
