as probably do most Morgan agents. The damper blade method was used by Morgans until quite recently.

From Morgantica, the blade is spring steel and the bearing surface plate which the main spring sits on is bronze. Having renewed plenty of them, I would agree.

The other parts; there is a cast alloy spacer between the bearing plate and the blade. The adjustment shims are mild steel and so is the clamp that holds them and the blade to the chassis.

Have not bought the bits for a while, but all the times I have they were cheap.
