When I re-build my 69 4/4 I have been thinking of having a spare wheel cover made by having one spun out of Aluminium to fit the shape of the wheel. These were not uncommon in the 50's on various vehicles (Tickford Coach built Land Rovers had them) and look quite nice on a vintage looking vehicle when painted body colour.
Anyone already done this?
