Thanks Guys for all the suggestions, will certainly follow them up.
It seems this is a "recognised problem" and basically caused by the inherant restricted entry in and out of the vehicle.
You would think MMC would have responded to this and designed some protection as part of ongoing developement. That's assuming they get feed back from owners about gripes and "design faults" etc.
Just a thought........do you think MMC lurk here?!
