For one that has yet to visit the factory, they were facinating. What is the protocol for arranging a tour? Is it done through the factory or a local dealer, and what sort of notice is required. My M3W is supposedly being built next week, and it would be nice to visit then, would it be too late to get on a tour now?
I went for a factory tour recently to see my Plus 4 in mid-production - the visit exceeded my expectations by far!! When mentioning having a car in production I received "special treatment" by the guide and the people in production ("well you are paying our salary..."). Mine was booked by my dealer and was free (normally £10), but if you have a car in production maybe it is free what ever way you book.
