I am now begining to wonder if it is the radio ariel vibrating in the slipstream.
Peter, I had a similar rattle on a previous mog and I traced it to the aerial.
The aerial was made of 3 telescopic tubes, and when inside each other they rattle against each other! When I extended the aerial fully, the noise disappeared.
