I wasn't aware of any TWR versions that weren't V12 but I can ask an aquaintance who is a bit of an anorak and ex Jag employee ( he recalled how they used to stick the manual V12 XJS in top gear then start the engine without dipping the clutch and once moving keep going until v- max )
