I also had to cut the breather to length, but the up side was that I could fill the tank at full pump speed after that, whereas before I had to fill it at a dribble.
I noticed this feature when filling my tank for the first time...now looking forward to next filling session. Are all new trads like this? Is there a way to get rid of the dribble-filling? It takes ages to fill and I have a feeling that "the volume counter" on the pump does not work that well if not on full speed (maybe just a feeling...but when using that technique I always get 11 liters into a 10 liter can...).
