Perhaps it was time to change to an EcoBoost 4 cylinder for the Roadster instead of being blocked on a 3.7 V6 which is perhaps pushing the limits on the trad.
I think the trad can handle 3.7 without too much strain, now I've got used to 3.0L a few extra ponies wouldn't go amiss
-I suspect your right though, an EcoBoost 4 would be more than adequate in a trad, but I do enjoy that silky V6
