As they start to build the profile they will always have to provide low cost advert places and advertorial to build up the overall proposition. As a new magazine you have to fight the battle on both fronts. You build the customer base to sell to the advertisers. You build the content and advertising to sell to the customers and expand the base. Rome was not built in a day, nor was Apple.
I like that they are willing to put money into this space as it shows commitment and a belief that we are worth the effort. What they need is content ideas to make it interesting. We are a small and quite static community so that will be a challenge in the long term.
