Twas my birthday this week (I celebrated with a 12 hour nightshift..!) and have managed to travel to my family home for a few days. Have had a few things up in the air recently but things are obviously looking up: after being given a book on the XJ220 by my folks that I've wanted for ages I received a phonecall some 10 minutes later from Car Magazine to tell me that I am expected to be a VIP Jaguar guest at the Festival of Speed!
Don't think I've ever won a competition and couldn't be more ecstatic. I've always wanted to go but never been able to afford it when it came round on the calendar. Car were happy too as often it's not their readers who win (thank you, internet). Seeing as I've been buying their mag since I was about 10...
So, anyone else going to Goodwood?!
