what is your average altitude in Scotland? I have the "new" ECU and in my area it runs very economically. when just cruising I have reached 6,5 litres/100Km and when driving really sporty not more than 10,5 l/100km.

During a trip to south Tyrol in April it smelled petrol when higher than 1500 meter above zero. When I´m back from holiday I will search to get the additional Barometric air pressure correction from Omex, like in this example:

If everything else is ok, than that could be a reason for higher consumption if you are located at higher altitude level.
