Just thought I would pop in and say hello. My name is Alan, I am 53 years old and live in Rossendale, Lancashire.
I have recently taken delivery of a new plus 4, in Jaguar metallic pearl (Gunmetal), full grey leather interior,(piped in yellow) and stainless wire wheels.
Many years ago, (1978 to be exact), I owned a 1973 plus 8 in Royal Ivory/Red leather,(RGS 464) which I understand is still going strong in Sweden
Here's wishing this new forum all the best....
Alan, first 'real' post!
You've gone down in Talk Morgan history
Thank you for joining - please give the site a chance and be patient; with a little luck and a lot of hard work, we'll build momentum over the coming months
My name is Neil. I live near Canberra Australia and have a 1967 Morgan +4 which I bought in 1986 when I retired. By 1995 because the driver's door was a little wonky I decided she needed restoring (we found that the only thing holding the door on was the paint!) It actually took nearly six years to complete. As a result I have a fair amount of knowledge on the restoration process, so if anybody has a question to ask in that regard I'll be pleased to try an answer them.

Hi Neil,
As Andy said, thanks for the kind offer. At the moment, we're still in a growth stage, so new members are joining all the time and I'm sure some (like William - Flyfisher) will drain you of your knowledge as they tinker with their cars (and our user base increases)!
Would love to see some pictures of your car when you have some time!
Hello Boshly and Simon, You asked for pictures before and after. This is the frame after we stripped the car down - there were 34 cracks in the chassis. I attached a photo of the new frame in my last post. More photos to come. Neil
This is a photo of my car with my youngest son Tim at the wheel giving her a bit of a go at Oran Park which is near Sydney. That's a +8 chasing him. Neil
