Interesting choice of words....given the costs of Morgan why would you not want it to be perfect.

I want mine to be perfect and it's second hand (and more). Buying new I would be fastidious beyond belief. Why would you want less than what it should be?

A response of this type is really annoying as what they are really saying is that they only fixed it because you are a difficult customer. It is almost as though they are trying to blame you for the manufacturing faults in the product. It is one thing to say that consumables (brake pads in this case) are not covered but if the consumable is faulty it should be replaced without question!

It says alot about the Morgan attitude towards customers and warranty but we are getting used to it down here...

The problem is that morgan make the car with defaults and afterward
it is at the dealer to solve all the problems. In my case my
dealer try to do the maximum to satisfies me but he is at 15 km
from home.I suppose that it is not so easy in Australia if you have
to return back to your dealer every time something is wrong.(sorry
for my poor english)

In a sense I am lucky and live close to the only Morgan service agent in Sydney but their work and reputation is so poor you don't want to take your car back.
One new Morgan owner has had a worse time than me with warranty repairs. He has had to make an hour and a half trip on each of the many occasions the car has had to be fixed and it’s less than a year old.
Another concerned owner has to make a 700K trip to the nearest agent.

Do you mean Morgan Australia or the Sydney distributor?

Yea, that was my thought...

But Peter, Look at the bright side, a fastidious owner – I’ll take that tag from Morgan all day long, especially from the winner of the ‘Rest of the World’ Morgan Dealer of the Year Award for 2011.

I can include it in the “For Sale” advertisement “A Morgan Identified Fastidious Owner”

That’ll but her weights up as she struts down the catwalk of the used car market....!

If brakes are unimportant what the hell is exactly. Unbelievable behaviour from your dealer, lets hope things improve for you.
