I did hear from a reliable source that Paul O'Grady sold his Aeromax because he has a Plus 8 on order! How can you sell an Aeromax that you spec'd new? especially when you can afford to have both! Presumably Paul O'Grady/Lily Savage is a fan of these cars because they have the acceleration of a dragster.... Maybe it's just that his garage doesn't have room for a new motor without getting rid of an existing one, but I know what you mean.

I ordered sports rear exit exhausts but then the factory said that they hadn't developed a sports exhaust for the Plus 8 yet - the choice was side exit or rear exit only. Sounds pretty good nevertheless so I'm not complaining. David

I ordered them from the aero racing options list at £1100 + VAT (how much??) but yes they are side exit

For me I agree. I have just sold a racing green 1979 +8 so i wanted to keep approx the same colour. My delivery is 9 weeks late, originally is was promised for me to take to the Classic Lemans. Is yours on time?
