Hello!
The cowl badge of our car have missing parts of the blue color. The same goes for the rear badge.
At Morgan Sweden Centre they say "They all do that" so there is no need to replace them with new ones.
At MMC website they sell badges with black color. Do they suffer from the same syndrome?
Are there any Morgan owner with badges that have color?
I find it peculiar that a company that are producing the same model of car for 75 years, have not solved the color stay of the badges.
Regards, Bosse

I had my cowl badge changed at the factory yesterday whilst having its first annual service. I was told the new badge will not loose it's paint this time.
Only time will tell.
I would try the dealer again to see if they will obtain a new improved badge for you.

My 2003 4/4 (with the older style badge) lost most of the black over time. easy fix with an artists brush and some Humbrol Enamel paint.

My new Roadster (1500 miles & counting...) has lost the lot :-(
I'm going to see if paint will stay in place, using body colour paint.

I think my '76 still has its colour. No guarantee it's not Humbrol by a previous owner though laugh2

I need to paint my rear ....... badge that is! Is Humbrol still the same original formula or has it changed to water based?

Not sure, but the enamel worked really well on the badge.

I also use Humbrol satin or matt black acrylic on the underside of the car; bumper mounts, diff casing etc. . when required.
