On "Step 11" of Dave's photos; has anyone fitted a Tenex male fastener to the side rail?
This would give a fixing point for the Tenex fastener when the hood is folded, rather than tucking the hood side behind the rails.
I was thinking of trying it, but would feel more confident knowing someone else has successfully managed to do it!

Hi Budster when I first got the car I thought about using a small rubber bungee to keep the hood side behind the rail. However with experience I have not had the hood side pop out so I no longer feel the need as I did when I first got the car.

After Icepack's great tip about pipe insulation, I found a length in the 'shed'. Guess what came next...........
The pile of soft leather offcuts on the bench caught my eye - before I knew it I'd made a leather covered length of pipe insulation.................
How cool is that. innocent

Same for Me but where Dave uses Pipe insulation I use a Full Length Folded Over to 6ins wide and then stitched around Hand Towel coffee

With reference to Folding the Toneau, I've just posed this from our R100 Site on Moganatica
