Given what we pay for a car another £50 for better shocks would not make or break a sale. By being cheapskate Morgan are just upsetting valuable customers and risk loosing sales.
Another cheapskate trick is to fit a stereo system that you can buy in any discount electronics shop for £80. You can not fit any type of remote to it yet for a few more £s you can get a better system that comes with a remote.
These are two items where Morgan needs to consider customer feedback.
After reading about problems with the standard shocks I had GAZ shocks fitted at the factory during the build. They work reasonably and do not cost too much. I am sure that fitting them to all cars would add little to the price. (Much less than I paid)

The new Roadster comes with adjustable shocks (Konis). Are these fitted to the other classics now?

Interesting. Perhaps given the power and weight of the new Roadster it was absolutely necessary to fit something better. Thank goodness they have shown a bit of common sense in this at least.
Have you looked at what you have to do to adjust them? Some Koni shocks are quite difficult to adjust.

The AVO shocks are very easy to adjust with the wheels on, there is a small turn wheel on the shocker that you turn to adjust, much better then the Koni shocks which I had once on an MG.I found I always had to take the wheels off to do anything with them. michael

I'll second that. I don't know how the Konis are adjusted. Can't find any reference to the part number on the shocks. I think I'll change them for AVOs sometime.

A case of parallel postings and really gives me a warm feeling inside to hear your comments on struggling to fit my AVO's with the following story... Fitting rear AVO's to 4/4....Help Keep up the Post regarding the settings.

when we ordered at morgan koni s for the rear suspension the first set was impossible to adjust .The garage ordered a new set and it was again not possible to adjust them.After a phone call to morgan they told us that they are adjusted at the factory for the best setting and it is impossible to change that setting again.Now i dont know if it is necessary to invest again in avo .
The front absorbers are the original and would the avo be better that the koni at the rear ?
