Hello all,
My name is Dave Walker and I am new here! I am not new to Morgans however as my father bought a '62 4/4 in 1983. He raced it at Westwood in Port Coquitlam, BC and we participated in two Monte Shelton Northwest Classic Rally events in the early 90's. We also attended local gymkhanas in Vernon and Kelowna, BC.

Recently I celebrated my 40th and was surprised by my parents who, unbeknownst to anyone, had made the trip from Vancouver to Mount Robson to be there for the celebrations. One of the gifts they gave me was a small box, inside of which was a small model of a red 4/4, to which my father had attached the key to his Morgan. I was stunned, then realised what was meant. My next words were "Are you sure?", to which he replied "I'm sure".

I am humbled and extremely grateful to have had this fantastic car that we have created so many memories in passed on to me. I am already addressing some minor issues that the car has, none that affect its fine capability as a reliable runner.

I look forward to being part of this forum and being in touch with Morgan enthusiasts world-wide.

Welcome Dave - lots of useful advice available here.

But remember - we do not own Morgans notworthy , we are only the custodians of Morgans for others to admire love and our children to take-on in the future. cheers

Welcome Dave

What a great story. I am sure your father had a great deal of pleasure passing his Morgan on to you and knowing it would be in good hands. He will always know where to find it if he wants to see it again.
