Dear Ladies & Gentlemen ,
So nice to join you to talk about morgan
Driving a Morgan was a 30 years dream for me
My Morgan 4/4 Ivory was delivered in october 2008 .
" She " comes from Brands Hatch Garage
I was so happy when I saw " her " in the middle of the garage window for the first time ..

My first car was a Mini 1000 silver grey with walnut dasboard , a large Smith tachymeter in the middle of the dash
and a small leather steering wheel in order to place my long legs
My second one was a red Austin metro turbo , nice & fast car but not so reliable ….

Then I got married ( I often think it was a good idea sometime not … )
and buy several German car to travel with my little familly (3 children )

I used to drive in Normandy visiting lovely castles or gardens and eating typical restaurant .
In summer I used to drive in the Swiss and French Alps with my friend Olive64 who is a member of talk morgan .

Sorry for my poor english; try to improve it with you ….

Kind regards from a rainy Normandy

Tony

Tony - Welcome to Talk Morgan forum.

As you may have seen we have members from all over Europe and the rest of the world.

We would love to see a photo of you car camera

Don't worry about your English. I struggle with spelling English, as some on this forum will tell you, and I am born and bred in England.

Welcome to Talk Morgan, Tony! The international kinship that comes with being a Morgan enthusiast is all part of the overall luster within ownership of such a fine automobile.

And no worries, as your grasp on the English language puts my grasp of any other language to shame, so you are already one up here! As others have said, photos photos photos!

Welcome. You live in a great part of the world to drive a Mog.
I am a great Calavados & cidre fan but not when driving obviously

Bienvenue Tony! I travelled through Normandy after the Le Mans Classic this year. I stopped at Bayeux, especially to see the Tapestry- even though it commemorates a French victory over our country I think we have forgiven you now!!!

Gerry.

ps I've just looked at your blog and see you visted Bruges with Seraphine. About 10 years ago I cycled there, with some friends, and recognise the road by the canal. It is a beautiful city and I'd like to take my own Morgan there someday.

Welcome Tony. Lovely car, I had a look at the photos on your blog. cheers

I can tell you that your English is a lot better than my French. We often travel to the south of France and fortunately my wife has excellent French.

Perhaps we can look forward to meeting up one day. drive

Loved reading your blog - and enjoyed the story of your grandmothers suitcase...

I have some great friends in Normandy, I may have to take my Roadster over! smile

Hello Tony.

Lovely car and you have the roads in France to enjoy it. We appreciate the lesser traffic density and are looking forward to our first Morgan trip to la belle France next year englandwave
