Aston prices seem to be sinking like lead balloons. Depreciation on a Rapide is clearly horrid.

Risking a public stoning here but I like the Panamera more.

My high opinion of your car taste Nick has just taken a battering! Moby Dick looks and designed for the NA turnpikes; not relevant for Europe, all in my humble opinion of course...

I know, it's terrible somestick

I'm not at all a fan of the outside but the inside is lovely and a Turbo went by me as if I was standing still on a country road when I most certainly wasn't!

I just can't get my head round the Rapide being a stretched DB9, whereas the Panamera is its own thing. Ugly, yes, but its own thing.

Nick, do you have a copy of Classic and Sportscar Nov 2003?
If not, I'll save it for you - drives of a couple of your favourite 'cats'... smile

Must admit the Rapide is nice but doesn't really excite me. If I needed/wanted such a car I'd go Panamera as well. If I still couldn't have a Bentley of course wink

I agree that AML styling has been very generic and it seems that finally they are doing something about it ('Scuse the cross-posting!).

But remove the comparison, forget the usual Porker competence and view the Panamera in its own right - nuff said? redcard

Cheers

Yes, tis true, but then again if I had Panamera money I wouldn't be looking at either as they don't really do it for me...

I do think the 'new' Vanquish looks fabulous, speaking about samey design. Much sharper

Unfortunately I had a run-in with a DB7 driver today who exemplified the worst kind of Bond wannabe pale

cheers
