Paternal side of family come from the Scottish highlands The tribe of Mar(r) pre dates the clan system oldest established house in Europe . But a lot of them both sexes have what the American's call Viking's claw ( dont know the Latin word ).It means some have Nordic gene's being as that is where it comes from . I have it also

Strapped my kilt on one new years eve went to a pub do in Consett with a cockney mog owner that lived in Wales but had a cottage a couple of miles from John Mac . Up on the dance floor a bloke lay down under me . I said what the hell are you doing down there he said the wife wants to know what you have on under it , tell her to come and lye down then . I could not go to the gents without being followed by men trying to get a look so had to use a cubicle . Well it was Consett .Drank a full bottle of 10 year old malt flyingpigbetween us the next day on an empty stomach never touched it since . thumbs

Dupuytrens conjecture. More prevalent in those with viking ancestry. Got it myself unfortunately. Associated with Peyronie's disease, and you dont want to catch that one.

Interesting. Viking claw I'd vaguely heard of, now I have a better understanding.
Steve, never drink cocoa while doing any kind of search on medical conditions... A couple of glasses of the red wine might be OK though... laugh2

We had a party at the week-end. So many people brought Real Ale as a gift that I have enough for another party. So I best not start drinking on my own in the evening. (If I am on the PC then Sue swmbo would be downstairs in front of the TV, proabily watching some medical program).

BTW, it is nearly always swmbo who is Googling for the medical symptoms banghead
