I've still got to fit mine. Unfortunately, no Mog to fit it to now...

Phantod,

Can you offer some detail as to how this is done?
How are the relays connected?

Thanks,
Warren

I'm thinking you would need one relay to sense the brake light and one to sense the turn signal lamp on the switch panel. Outputs from these relays would go to the brake input, and to one turn signal input, on the Audicator. The Audicator's other turn signal input would not be used. Negative input to this whole system would come off the ignition switch; positive from chassis ground. Am I on the right track?

I have replaced my indicator relay with a beeper type. It works quite well at most speeds but not when at high speed due to the hi wind noise. Motorway are the only place where the beep is drowned out. It's in standard form with no extra holes at this stage. I may add more but undecided so far.

I posted the circuit on the "Audible turn signal" thread some time back. The "Audicator" is designed to sense the pulse on the on the positive side so you need to wire the negative to the ignition and the sense wires to ground via a relay operated by the lights in question. This "fools" the unit to work on a + earth vehicle. It is a great unit made in the UK and has about 10 programmable parameters. It is one of the best mods I have made to the +4. I spoke with the folks at Audicator about a factory mod, but they weren't convinced that it would be profitable, even though there is a sizable market in the pre-1954 hot rod market too.
