thanks all for your welcome comments. yes first Morgan, I drove it for 30 minutes! fabulous, and that is why I bought it on the spot. (and I have a Porsche 911 C4 997 in Canada to compare it to) perfect sports car for the S of France! it will stay at the France dealer in Paris until I come there next which at this point is early Feb. it will reside at our house in the South of France. I will join MCF Sud Est, thanks for the information. I have sent the pics Paul Peter

Hi Peter, Very interested to hear your thoughts on both once you've had a chance to own/drive the Morgan extensively. I have a 997 C2S (and have had a 996 C4, Turbo and 997 Turbo in the past), so often found myself mentally comparing the merits of my Morgan over the Porsche. While it isn't a fair comparison (apples and oranges imho), it makes for an interesting discussion! Cheers Simon

Hi, I can see that dept 16 is far from 84. anyway, if there is some reason, even for a Mog meet that either could be in a nearer region we should contact one another. Peter

Peter, you can contact Michel direct on <michel.coumes@wanadoo.fr>
I will be permanently resident en France from January and therefore a meeting is very much on the cards, sometime in the future. 'Classic' Le Mans is the first one I have signed - up for.
Brian (Aeroman) for one, will also be there. I'm sure Bichon will also put in an appearance being local, won't you?

Many of us use the MSCC arranged trips to LMC, as the Travel Coordinator - Quentin English - is excellent, and getting accommodation in the Le Mans area at busy times can be quite difficult. In case, you have not already joined, and wish to do so, the website is here: The Morgan Sports Car Club Best wishes Brian
