Those of you driving models which do not have the benefit of a spare wheel and who would rely upon Morgan Rescue would be advised to read General Condition 1 and General Condition 9 of the policy document. In the event of a puncture that could not be repaired with the sealant provided with the car, you would have to bear the cost of the recovery.

Condition 18 may also be pertinent.

Mine, nor my friends, who bought his Plus 4 at the same time, did not come with a policy document. And....I won't go into the amount of hassle he had when he did breakdown....nearly made him throw his Morgan away in disgust with the Company. Luckily I stuck with good old AA.

Fortunately I have a spare on mine.

Did I mention I'm getting a new Roadster? Might not have done.

Tum te tum......

Hi!
We bought a new every day car yesterday and it has no spare wheel. Then none of our cars will have a spare wheel except for our camper. The cars we own are "green cars" and have low emissions and the lack of the extra weight a spare wheel adds to the vehicles. Furthermore the luggage rack on our Morgan gets very high up in the air if it is mounted above a spare wheel.
Cheers, Bosse

Thats what puts me off the new +8 . The thoughts of being stuck in the wild's as all mog drivers try to find the only place a mog has not been .Stick a spare wheel on and I would start to like it. Just looked at SGT this m/ing the black +8 said to swmbostick a spare on and I may fancy it .

No room on the new Plus 8 though. The panel behind is chock full of electronics etc and the wheels are too wide to sit on a sport style rack without looking daft and blocking the view!

I thought is there no place to put those electronics spread them about a bit . If they can build a car that should not be a problem . The family have had a lot of punctures over the last few years I had one in my wifes car up near Chillingham Castle Northumberland it took the AA several hours to find us they kept sending the chap to another area .

No spare! Oh that does it for me. I'll just have to stay with the Plus 4 innocent

Plus 8 - £85 grand and no spare wheel. I shall stick with my Roadster and Britannia rescue who I have found to be excellent on the rare occasions I needed their help.
