What is your opinion on some of the options offered?
Some of the options that I would consider are the quilted leather and the blacked-out exhaust. Just wanted to know if owners had opinions on the standard exhaust which looks fantastic new, but was wondering how it is holding up.
Thanks, vincesf

guilted is a good choice when you pick "stylish" colors I found it not suitable on my racing green
blacked out exhaust: they are going to coat them instead of painting them, so wait till you are sure yours will be coated

Added special paint (to match my Aero - vanity rather than sense), have added the Intercom (but not sure what I'll do with it) - just in case, Immobiliser (should pay back through the insurance), chrome pack (prefer it), black exhaust shields, build record, tonneau (mohair).
Standard leather (black, no quilting) - like the quilting but it doesn't seem necessary with black, no stickers (can always add these when stone chips or whatever come along).
However, on reflection, if you might not be keeping for a long time, probably best to stick to the simplest spec you can. The options are unlikely to add their cost to the value as with most cars in my opinion. But may make the car easier to sell.
Tried to add heated seats but factory said power supply is not up to it.
Allon White seem to have some rather natty extra headrests on a demo car which is for sale, plus the boot rack (15Kg max I believe). I expect some fitted luggage sausage bags will turn up soon to make the best of what's available in the boot.
BHM do a foot-locker which makes good use of the space at the end of the passenger footwell.
There are some nice retro leather tool-bags which will probably fit under the cowl with some heavy duty velcro or similar, and I think this may be worth adding.
Oh - and AA relay or similar seems a good idea if you get a puncture...
Most of all, it's a bit of fun, so treat yourself! Some options can be added later but some cannot without a lot of hassle...

I didn't order any options at all when I ordered my car, frankly I didn't think they were great value for money and I prefer to add my own bits and pieces as I go along, I have the standard polished exhaust pipe and shield, which still look great after 1000 miles, and I don't see any reason why that should change. I use a metal polish [Alu Belgom] on it occasionally, and this keeps it looking good. I should have wrapped a few coils of copper wire around the manifold at the head, which is supposed to stop tarnishing of the first foot or so of the primary pipes, whether it does or not I won't know, but, perhaps a new owner could do it and let us know for next time?

In regards to the above, do you mean that they will be coating the standard exhaust? Morgan is offering a "black exhaust pipe" option, which I believe blacks out both the exhaust manifolds and the side exhaust pipes at a cost of £ 400.00. If I go that route I would like to keep the heat shield polished, instead of black, for some contrast. It is good to know however that the stock exhaust holds up well. It looks brilliant new. Someone also told me that the standard exhaust glows in the dark at night. Either very cool looking or unnerving. Thanks again for the responses.

There is a type of stainless that is black. It is used on some aftermarket motorcycle silencers. I don't know if it is a chemical treatment or a natural finish of the alloy used.

Very definitely cool, and fascinating.
Remember that the standard exhaust system is stainless steel, and the heat shields are aluminium, so, with metal polish, should always be easy to get back to a good finish. You can always coat the system later if you get fed up with a polished stainless look, and I daresay for a lot less than £400.

Exhausts can be coated by plasma spraying a ceramic coating.

Does anyone know whether Morgan will paint the cowl the same color as the body color?
Thanks,
