This is clearly an important subject that will be of interest to all owners with leather seats.
Visit my blog "http://www.onemanandhismog.blogspot.com" and read my post.
I can assure you that you will find it a real 'eye opener'and could save you a lot of elbow grease.

Interesting. But it doesn't get away from the fact that leather does need regular cleaning and (as mentioned in the article) shouldn't be allowed to dry out - particularly if the car is kept in a heated or dehumidified garage. It would have been even more helpful if good products that clean and moisturise the leather without adding extra oil had been recommended by name.

When I got my last car, I was simply told to wipe down the leather with a damp lint-free cloth, like a computer screen. That said, the leather isn't as good as the leather in Morgans.

Giles, I think this is what you are looking for.
RENAPUR
LEATHER BALSAM
protects, waterproof and nourishes all leathers restoring their original softness and colour .
You apply it with a sponge ( supplied )
comes in a 250ml plastic tub as a hard wax ( colourless )
by Renapur ltd W.Sussex .UK .
ITS MADE FROM NATURAL INGREDIENTS INC BEESWAX .
I have been useing it for years , at first the seat's etc are sticky but this dry's off and a good buffing will make the leather shine . Its not cheap for the size but it last's a long while and you dont have to do them constantly , only used a 1/3 of this tub , its the sponges that you run out of so those green kitchen one's are just the job SOFT SIDE ONLY .

True. The "Lounge" leather in our MINI Cooper is of far better quality than that in our morgan.
