For those with non-standard leather: is there really no way that Morgan will change the dash inserts and other bits to match the seats?

ask your dealer to order "some more leather" and have it fitted by him (or someone who does so)

I didn't notice that, but you are 100% correct, as it only matches the standard black and brown seats. Someone recently posted a video with a 3 wheeler sporting a custom white leather interior and the leather surrounding the gauges is black. Analogously, this is a similar question I am raising in regards to requesting a painted cowl. Perhaps Morgan believes that there would be no end the level of customization requests and is leaving it up to owners to customize. vincesf

I sure we've seen pictures of cars with painted cowls so its possible, at a price.
I'll bet we'll start seeing all sorts of optional extras entering the market in the near future, either suggested by customers or in an effort to close the after market loop.

I would agree that we should see some more optional extras in the near future, but I would bet that the painted cowls out their currently were done by owners, post-delivery. vincesf

Why get Morgan to supply all this customisation at the factory? Surely it is easier and cheaper to get it done with an aftermarket supplier. There is nothing special that MMC can supply that can't be got from somewhere else after all.
As far as the dash inserts are concerned, they are little bits of leather held on with only two bolts, they seem to curl off the dash after time too, I would get mine back with ali. or plastic if I was changing them, better still, have the passenger one made into a glove box lid. Why hasn't Morgan done that?

I have already been shopping for the perfect piece of burled wood to make my own custom burled dash panels. No stealing my idea and making it look good before I am able to implement it I recently did a sign out of a large slab of burl for my parents lake house and it came out quite well!

There really isn't anything special that Morgan is doing here, nearly 99% of these cars is just the assembly of parts and pieces that they purchase elsewhere and put together. Other than the frame and the body panels, everything else in the car would be extremely easy to source without Morgan. Even the frame and body panels are built off site for Morgan. Chances are though, building this car on your own would probably cost more than what Morgan is offering them for, but a lot of the "extras" will most certainly be cheaper without Morgan.

That is exactly my point, so why treat the factory as the holy grail? Only if you want to pay more, really the same as buying options for any car.
