Morgan Roadster 2 - The pictures show my new Series II Roadster. I didn't chose a '2006 green' but two greens from the 50s (Mercedes Caledonia Green with Bottle Green)

Rod, that is really gorgeous, I'd love to see some close-up photos of the new dash - really looks properly retro, with some modern edges.

IMHO, when Morgan revise the Aero dash, I hope they take a leaf out of the revised Trad's book. The dash looks really special while retaining a vintage feel and yet is very user friendly.

The seats are Lagoon (a Muirhead colour) but for others parts a green Yarwood leather was used. I don't know the name but I can find out for you on Monday.

I would really appreciate it if you could let me know the name of the Yarwood dark green on Monday.

I am very tempted to go for Yarwood Stone leather seats with the dark green top of doors and dash board top as per your car. I need to put my specification in sometime this month so I am finalising all the details at the moment.

As you paid the 'Piper', final credit has to rest with you Rod. Another 'distinctive' Two Tone car; are we seeing a return to 'individual' cars which is what 'Morgan' is all about. Rather than the current trend of buying the cars the 'Dealer' has pre - ordered and has in Stock.

Sorry Rod, not wishing to make a 'political statememt, just appreciate the originality of your choice.. As regards the 'Dash': I want it!

Robert, I think you've hit on something quite important here AND one of the real special qualities of a Morgan product.

For those living in England, surely one of the real joys of buying a new Morgan is going to the factory and deciding on all the colours and finishes for their car?

To my mind, this is one of the real selling features of a Morgan and I often told people that it felt like buying a handmade suit, or any other beautifully hand finished product. I felt like the end result was a reflection of my personal taste AND how many cars can you say that about?

I understand why people buy cars sitting at dealers in the UK (beat the wait and probably get a better price); however, everyone who is willing to buy a new Morgan really should try the factory route once as it is very special and the end product feels like a piece of art you helped create.

It all depends on what you know about Morgan and the cars. Ordering my first car was very easy. I ordered Connaught Green with black leather. The only options I chose were a galvanized chassis, a scuttle roll bar and a luggage carrier.
After the first visits to MOG events in UK (with many more than 1000 different cars) and several factory visits it became more 'complicated'. I chose 16 options for the next one. It was always a lot of fun to decide on the options together with my agent.
Today it is too complicated as Morgan look great in many colours and I liked a switch to change between the colours all the time. Therefore I was quite happy that for the first time somebody else decided how the car should look. I only had to decide whether I wanted to buy it.
