23 days so far from your first photo of the car on the trailer and not back yet. That really isnt acceptable and I'd be giving Charles Morgan a bollocking for that sort of performance if it were my car. Shouldnt take anything like that to build a complete car from new let alone repair one.
You really do have my sympathies at having your balloon pricked like this

I thought I should 'sign' this thread off, incase anyone finds it via Google in the future! I won't pretend that the four (almost) weeks the car was off the road was a bundle of fun, but I am happy that everyone at SGT/BHM (where the car was recovered to) and Morgan did what they could as soon as they could to get me on the road again. I've had the car back for two weeks now and have driven approx 500 fantastic miles in all sorts of weather and light. Previously I had agreed with Julian at SGT that a small amount of compenstation was due to cover the cost of a months road tax and insurance etc. It was agreed today that this amount will be paid directly to Cancer Research (at my request) by SGT, and I could not be happier!

Mike, nice gesture and I'm glad you're back in love.
Bought one of them round up of the years car mags today, can't think what it was and typically left it on my desk in the office.
Summary went something like
Cons: it's draughty, exposed and completely bonkers.
Pros: it's bonkers, exposed and draughty.
Summed up ownership for me, I'll dig out the proper quote tomorrow.
Slowly going green

You have done the right thing by being patient and also realistic at the same time + its helped Cancer Research ..... owning a Morgan is part of life's adventure .... tell me honestly when has that ever really run perfectly smooth
