Congratulations - I could sort of see that coming after the Hethel trip. Pictures please and then a comparison of the driving experience.......

Congratulations - I could sort of see that coming after the Hethel trip. Pictures please and then a comparison of the driving experience....... Yes that would be interesting. I could try to do one myself but TBH my experience of driving Morgans is limited to a couple of test drives and in something so idiosyncratic that really isnt enough. I would guess you need to be familiar to get the best out of a moggie. One tip. The Lotus roadholding is really good, and this encourages you to try silly things. But once it lets go on a wet and greasy road you need above average reactions and skills to catch it , the engine being towards the rear. I would recommend first getting experience of the limits on a track day or with that guy at Bedford who does driver training.

Just as difficult to get in and out of, plus if you get stuck they cant get you out by removing the soft top as I had to do with a pal. I know little about these Elans except that they seem to be pretty fast at track days and hold the road very well.
