LOL, it's a toy to me, and I hope it stays a toy. If I wanted "a car", I'd by something with four wheels grin2 innocent

I'm using mine to get to work (about 15 miles each way). I will do this if its not raining, and contunkue until the roads start to get slippy. But I guess road salt and Morgans do not mix...

Only issue I have is the time at night it takes to 'clean' the car. I don't like putting it (him/her?) to bed wet or dirty! I'm also wondering how often I should clean (hose/jetwash) the inside of the rearwheel housing, all those screws!

The motor on the left in your piccy looks more suitable for when the white stuff descends... smile

I have had my M3 now for 5 weeks - and driven it a lot!

It is not an everyday car IMO - more for fun when the roads/weather/temp permit.

Its amazing fun! Better than a "car" just as much excitement as a bike!

I test drove the Red Morgan M3 at Malvern in March and was really disappointed. The handling was poor, there was lots of noise coming from the transmission - and on overrun ( the bevel box I think). However since then Morgan seem to have improved a lot of these issues. My car has the modded bevel box fitted - and I could hardly believe the difference in driving. I think maybe the cush drive has been improved too.But this car is chalk and cheese compared with the Demo.

I had my tracking reset at the factory. This has transformed the handling/ride - a v v noticeable improvement. I know from my racing car days how vital set up can be - and would encourage any M3 drivers with issues to have their track/set up checked. Even small changes will/can make a vast difference. On a similar note also check tyre pressures - in particular the Front. Lower is better IMHO. It makes sense too - as U need the biggest footprint u can achieve - this can help with Bump steer issues too. I am now on 22 at the Front 26 rear. (Hope this is not too obvious - sorry if this is a banale suggestion!)

However do bear in mind that in the M3 we are sat v v close to all the transmission and noise/feedback is inevitable - and part of the driving experience:))

Anyway as a M3 driver i hope all this helps!!

Hi M3Boy
Can you post the front set up as you have it at the moment.
eg. castor, camber toe and ride height.
It may help others get the best from their cars.

Mine is due sometime in November and I aim to measure and record the front and rear set up so this can be my benchmark for further adjustments.

In 1999 I bought a Lotus 135Sport from the factory to compete with and it took me 2 years of fine tuning to hit the sweet spot, but by god did it handle when I did.
From the factory it under steered into corners and over steered out, that kept you on your toes a bit but didn't do much for lap times!

Hope the weather stays ok long enough for you to get more use from yours before the dreaded salt spreading.

Best to call Mark at the Malvern Service desk for the set-up info - I do not have all the info of what was done - but was taken back to the default setting. I can only repeat what a difference this made to my M3.I think u would need specialist set up kit - as 3ws are IMO difficult to set up with 4w kit.

I have seen posts on here about M3s Understeering - a sure sign of wrong tracking/set up IMHO :))

My car will oversteer slightly now if pushed hard out of a turn or on a wet road - but this is v v easy to correct on throttle/steering - very well behaved:))So it feels "right" now :))

cheers.N

Hope all this helps!
