Sounds good - weather permitting. I'm going to BHM tomorrow for them to work their magic, but doubt they can do too much in one day.

Anyone else in the vicinity (I'm junction 6 M25) so will be meeting up somewhere down the A22 between East Grinstead and Uckfield??? Sunday will be better for me unless the forecast is awful for Sunday and great for Saturday.

Now up until I read this I had thought a 'squad' only stood for one thing, so here is how I read your post (until I googled it)

m3boy many thanks for the advice on location of chassis number. It turns out my car is M3W 131. So quite an early one. Look forward to hearing about any improvements from any of the suspension changes/refinements on members cars

I hope BHM have sorted you out today!

I've looked the map and tried to find somewhere sensible to meet, where we could leave one of the cars and not worry about it. Dead center between me and you (I lied, I'm actually in Bexhill) is Maresfield, Rec which as long as they are not playing footie, should resonably safe???

I was going to suggest the little chef down the road, but it appears to be closed and the carpark blocked off (on google maps) so thats no good.

Sod's law is that Saturday is better for me, but I can sort of re-arrange things, but I'll go with what ever day the weather is best. I'll PM you my contact details.

BHM weaved their magic on my car yesterday. The bevel box seems quieter following my two longish runs this week and car was running very well apart from the horrible rattle / vibration that's been there almost since I picked it up.

Jamie at BHM (who's a really good guy, knows his M3Ws as well as anyone I've talked to and will listen and try to help - and so far has succeeded!) spent the day checking out bits, removing and replacing the dashboard and tightening things up, but eventually found the rattle was a loose piece of plastic trim in the passenger footwell. This is a contortionist's dream but a nightmare for most people to reach once the body is on the car. Anyway, Jamie managed it - rattle gone. Transforms the driving!!

He was happy with my bevel box which does seem to be quieter now as I mentioned above and is definitely not bad albeit not exactly totally silent!!

He also provided 12V to my intercom system so hopefully this will now work - I will try it out tomorrow. The factory had not finished the crimping of wires or connected it up but mostly ok apart from the finishing off.

Tracking settings have recently been changed by the factory (and I have the latest rack) so mine's been changed although I was fairly happy with it before except for wandering at about 55 - 60 mph on B roads. Now seems even better and I will give it a longer run tomorrow. Anyway, apart from a couple of really minor things the car is now pretty much AOK and driving really well.

Fantastic!!

Wiscos, that is good news, it is the little rattles that annoy. Once resolved the motors is soooo much better.

I'm so pleased they are working on the steering issues, please report back once you have had a chance to properly evaluate it, expecially on bumpy, but fast B roads.
