Good luck - certainly worked for me.

I also had a loose trim panel in the passenger footwell that required tightening up. This sounded like a rattle behind the dashboard (noises always difficult to source in cars!) especially between about 2500rpm and 3500rpm. Once tightened the rattle disappeared.

I'm now up to almost 1400 miles and enjoying the spring weather at last. Still some odd noises especially at low revs (drivetrain doesn't really like <2000 rpm in any gear that much) but the most annoying ones have gone. Car much nicer without them!

Try Moroso Climbing Lube for rear ends. It does not foam, and quiets the rear end . I've used it for years on other cars, and it makes quite a difference . My M3 delivered a few weeks ago, the box has some noise, not too bad. Will change out to Moroso at 1000 miles along with other fluids.
