Not long at all!

I just got word from John at Auto Europe that my 3 Wheeler went into production today (December 7th) and should be completed within 10 to 14 business days!!

WHEW! I just made the first production year with only weeks to spare :xmascheers: and I really wanted to get a first production year model.

While not an early car it will still have been produced in 2012 and I will benefit from all of the experience gained and lessons learned with all of your 3 wheelers joy

So, if anyone will be by the factory within the next two weeks let me know as I would love a first hand account of my cars progress, and to make sure it is coming along as I specified.

Exciting stuff!
I think mine should be going into production in the next couple of weeks too.
How long will shipment take for yours? Maybe we'll get our cars at the same time smile

Charlie.....if I can get MMC to answer the phone I might be over at the factory later this week or early next. If I am, I'll look out for you car and take some photos.

I asked John how long the trip across the pond would take and he wasn't 100% certain, but he figured at least a week plus on the boat and probably an additional two weeks plus on the docks, at customs, in transport to dealership. So around a month give or take. Just a guess at this point though really.

Jays,

Pics would be great, I've really enjoyed the factory pictures that people have posted in the past, especially the ones of different colours/ specs all lined up

I don't know when mine will be built but it's sometime soon - Stingray Grey/ chrome/ tan in case you see one.

Charlie, I'm taking mine up to the factory on Monday for the front end geometry to be set up, to give less kickback at the steering wheel, so if you let me know what the spec. of your car is, I'll keep my eyes open for it too, and take some pictures if I find it.

Hi PaulJ

Anychance you can find out exactly what will be done to your geometry set up? I would like to see if it can be done here. ( A bit too far away to get to the factory!!!) I dont think there has been any communication of such options to the dealer network, at least not in NZ.
If nothing else a contact at the factory would be useful so that might get an email conversation going twixt them and the sole mechanic in Auckland with morgan experience.
I have done 2500km and will be getting a service done soon so could include this work.
Many thanks
