I have never been comfortable with the rear end of an Aero rdstr, it just doesn't work very well but I'm not sure how it could have looked better.

This one with the new rear on it doesn't work either.

I'd love to see some alternatives sketched up.

Like it or hate it, this car is certainly different and a one-off.

An S3 owned originally by a friend of mine here in SouthWest France and work done by one of his employees. I won't tell you how many hours labour went into it since you probably wouldn't believe the figure.

Car was subsequently bought from him by someone who fell in love with it, and a Babyblue coloured Aeromax replaced the vehicle. From memory he bought the rear wings and lights from the factory but the rest was handmade.

Cheers

Possibly.

It just doesn't match the styish and beautifully crafted front end. To me it always looked like the designer ran out of time.

Wasn't it something to with Charles wanting to make sure golf clubs would fit?

I can see that the topic created hot debate then having read through the thread. I am sure it will provoke food for thought again and again cheers

It would be like asking if people prefer the headlights on a S1-2 over a S3-4 for example ?
