They all have an hour hand but no minute hand, the parchment dial above has hour hand and sweep second hand plus minutes and seconds ( chrono function) sub dials. You tell the time by counting off the five minute intervals between hours, ie black dial shows 6:44, Parchment dial 9:45 and 8 seconds ( I think... )

If you find a single hand watch difficult, how about a single-hand 24 hour watch?
I could not find any examples of a six hour watch and very few six hour clocks remain. The theory is simple. You always know if it is morning or afternoon and at night you can't see the clock anyway, so six hours is enough.
