I saw this on the Morgan stand at the motorbike show yesterday. It looks excellent. I'd not sat in one before - they certainly are snug!

Yes it was good to see the Gulf coloured M3W at the bike show.
There was a good British presence at the show with one particular stand getting my biking juices going, namely that of the Metisse show stand.
Their new 1000cc sports bike/road racer.....wow...just beautiful.

I actually rather like the look of this car, which is surprising because typically Im not the fan of the "gulf edition" of any car.

Good job I like it as I was going to create my own version but the factory bet me to it, so I'm having one of theirs.

Given the way the car is linked to the Nissan thing, I expect Morgan is preparing a 3W to run at Le Mans next year.

While I do like the colors used and the gulf theme in general, there are a few things that have me put off by this limited production run. Like, of the 14 specifications listed, only 4 are actually unique to this model. So, for an extra £4162.50 you get: gulf decals, gulf badge/embossed leather, gulf blue paint, and orange stitching on the steering wheel. Oh, and the luxury of being only one of 100.

I am not convinced it is worth it.

What about the fact that that you are a high profile advert for Gulf and Superdry?

There must be some value for these brands in you guys running about with their logos highly visible and creating a lot of attention.

I am surprised this is not reflected in some kind of goodwill subsidy rather than a special edition premium.

I think a £3k discount would be reasonable. Money may not be an issue on such a discretionary purchase, but there is a point - the brands must be loving it.
