As far as I can see there is no adjustment whatsoever for camber and castor, only for toe, so it seems there is very little setting up to do, just toe and tyre pressure.

I'm booking mine in at the factory to be set up properly, and with the latest bits and pieces, but not until early December, so will have to wait with anticipation of an improved car until then.

Less weight of course on a two or three speeder, but on those, the starting tyre pressure at the front is 19 psi.

(25 at the back, but they are the same size as the front tyres)

I just got mine 5 weeks ago, right on time for Wintertime in Switzerland...

I use it whenever the streets are dry, also to work (15km).

I guess, in warmer days, it will be my main vehicle every day.

Must be a bit chilly up your way at the moment but I guess the M3W is a bit warmer than a motorbike. There was still frost on the ground at 4 in the afternoon in Valtellina today

Going back to the original title of the thread, asking if the car is good for everyday use, whilst I do not use mine for everyday transport, I can attest that when it rains, the lower body remains quite dry whilst on the move, except that water will blow back and over the outer side of the scuttle and down onto the outside of your right leg, making it quite wet after time. Obviously a good waterproof jacket is a must though.

Just thought I'd share that little nugget with you all.

All is progressing nicely with the 4/4, but not so good news on Little Nellie (the 3 wheeler!). Whilst back at RPM for it's service and a number of new parts (compensator, bevel box, rear cog, a new headlamp, oil tank and shock absorber) , their keen eyes spotted a hole and stress cracks in the chassis behind the engine, so it's back with Morgan and getting a new chassis fitted as well! Just as well it's not convertible weather right now. The drive belt is also rubbing against the rear tyre and scuffing it quite badly....has anyone else had this problem?

This sounds quite shocking for 30K of car really.

The rear tyre is fixed between a motorcycle style swinging arm - the adjustable settings need to be bang on - otherwise the belt drive will either be too close to the tyre or trying to sling off the drive cog. Mine is sckewed (technical term that!)1/8th" out - not much but enough to create a significant drive belt issue. The wheel nut is massive which u ned to loosen to adjust - truck size spanner needed which I do not have - so this will have to be corrected at its next service

That's a shame - I thought the stress crack in the chassis sounded pretty serious also.

Hopefully the chassis issue was bad welding - does anyone know more about this?

Any details on the other probs - cog? headlight? oil tank? shock absorber? Whew - better go out for a little drive to make sure mine's ok!
