Simon - you seem to know everything about everything. Do you have an oracle or something?
I wish I had an oracle! However, the Aeromax is a subject a know a fair bit about.
As for watches, I know a little about the subject but only in areas that have proven of interest to myself; therefore, I certainly would be of little value in a pub-quiz or Mastermind
First of all I´m shocked how scratched my watches are - but anyway, I wear them all with joy...
This was my father´s 1970 flightmaster he gave me on my 40th birthday, 13y ago. Fortunately a watchmaking shop in Cologne had bought all the original Omega tools so I could let the steel case brush new.
This Broad Arrow looks also nice with a Morgan.
My favorite with the Morgen is this 2006 sixties replica of a Chronomatic, very rustic and not too much numbers and scales as some other Breitlings show and can look like a slide rule.
So blue, and called Blue Wave - looks quite cool with the RAF blue P4SS.
Heinz, the 911 Flightmaster is a superb watch and even nicer with the family history. Are you aware of the late Chuck Maddox? If not, his web site is an excellent resource for vintage Omega information. Here is the link to his Flightmaster section:
