I am the last 10 years very happy with both my Fortis watches.In rotation they are used every day.I have a square ( without the chronometer) and a black gmt. www.fortis-watches.comRudolf

Heinz - how many watches have you got? (Don't say 57) If I could get just an ounce of your delightful British humor  I have not even 57 Varieties of ketchup... Serious answer if you like, 7 over the last 15 years (unbalanced feel when wearing them altogether  ). No trade just collecting, only steel. Best wearing comfort of them gives the 39mm Explorer1 which has become my daily watch.

Sorry About my corny humour Heinz Wasn't sure if it would translate to be honest . Fantastic language skills by the way. Same for our other continental contributors. Many a time I've thought of studying another language, got the usual school boy French going on, but when it comes to choice which one is the more important.
It should be French for me as my connections in the Middle East use it as there second Language.
Maybe when I get to the Dordiogne il work a little harder.

Hi Simon,
this used Sinn GSG9 watches are very desirable. TBH I didn´t know about that offer. I like Sinn as they are positioned to make very functional watches at a reasonable pricing term. That´s funny because the emotional benefit is to own the most functional watch.
Manufactum is a special warehousing. I guess you know that even a Morgan 4/4 is among their offers. Just a few years ago you could buy restored British Quad ESL 57 electrostatic speakers and Quad II tube amps via Manufactum. Oh dear...what with this and Simon's postings about Russian watches, it could start me off on something! I really rather like the Sinn range of watches! And the link to Manufactum..........  There's a host of interesting stuff on there....already got the Gränsfors Bruk axe ( I am a wood carver as a hobby in case you all are getting worried!) .
