I think that's a great find, only thing that put me off is non original strap and nothing about box and papers?

I like the idea of new old stock, especially wither Morgan connection. Looks like a special created for one of the European clubs?

A few years back quite a few NOS (new old stock) Breitlings found their way onto the market; of particular note was the vintage Chrono-Matic SuperOcean

What seems to have happened was that when Breitling went out of business, all the current, unfinished, stock was put into storage. Once the company was reborn, they wanted a fresh start, so produced new models; thus the ones in storage stayed there. Scroll forward quite a few years and whomever owned the stock decided to release it. There were a few models that had been held back but imho the SuperOcean was the best of them. Almost all were head only - no boxes, no strap and no papers.

I have not seen the Plus 8 Morgan watch by Bretling but shares some design elements of the SuperOcean which was circa late 1960s/early 1970s.

The NOS SuperOceans were up for sale a few years back for just under £2,000 but I looked before I posted and the cheapest I could find was £4,250 and the most expensive over £8k for a NOS one. I don't know where the +8 model should be but my guess is probably close to the SuperOcean price.

When the Swiss watch industry imploded 20 years ago many manufacturers had continued making and stockpiling ebauches/cases etc until the receIvers called, fascinating that NOS is still being unearthed.

My watch numbers are slowly creeping up plus I ship some out to my sons to reduce the numbers from time to timne. Currently have 9 of very diverse styles. The ones pictured here plus a few newly added.

A nice collection of watches. What is it about Morgan owners that we seem to have many of the same interests, two of which I now find are steam engines and watches.
My collection of the latter includes the following:

Cartier Ferrari chronograph
Carlo Ferrara Quadro
Vogard F1 radiator
Panerai Marina
Pierre DeRoche Split rock concentric chronograph

Here for a good time not a long time!!

Junior got some cash for his 18th and wanted to buy a watch so over Christmas he looked on the Pistonheads found a thread which directed him to

Marcus Watches

Who he believes have watches in him price range.

So up bright and early off to Bond Street so early the shop weren't open. Anyhow guys still dressing the window and was busy putting this in the display

But at £105k it was a little out of juniors range and after a conversation with the man in the window he decided he'd try somewhere else.

I think he's settled on a Bremont Chrono of some sort now, but now needs to learn to tell the time as he's always late home, and learn that everything you read on the web isn't true.

I might be able to get you a deal on the Bremont as the owner is known... PM me if you decide to buy one.
