Having run factories myself I can speak with experience. Deviation from you core processes is a road only taken in desperate circumstances and it seldom works.
Morgan are not perfect but in these difficult times they are doing ok.
Andyman/Gwyn might I suggest you listen to your own words of wisdom and start up a business taking advantage of all the oppotunities you see. You will make a fortune.

I have a leakproof hood on my '76.
But the water gets in through other routes...

MMC love those owners who are prepared accept their cars whatever the shortcomings. There is nothing wrong in constructive criticism as long as it goes towards improving the product. Its a poor management who just ignore their customers and ploughs on regardless. Yes, Morgan cars do have some minor niggles, and we all head to the garage to tinker and polish our pride and joys. The alternative is washing up, hoovering etc. and I know where I would rather be.
So let people have there say, keep the blood pressure normal and you don't have to read it if you don't want too

For the trads, the Simmonds is about as leak proof as it gets.

Except for getting in it when it raining when you bring in your own small flood, my +8 does not let in any water. That is little to do with the MMC but down to the after market and caring servicing.

The fact that the Aeros still leak is unacceptable (IMHO)

Despite any 'gripes' about 'this or that', I am still delighted to own and drive a Morgan. I am sure any marriage has its ups and downs but the good times always outweigh the bad. And when you are married to such a beautiful woman with so many fine qualities, well who wouldn't be happy?
Still didn't stop me getting to the bottom of the leaking hood though!

I wrote something but seems pointless to try to put forward ideas at this stage. Andyman and I seem to be in the minority and seen as idealists.

No, others just have a different opinion, which they are entitled to have. Being derogatory isn't going to help.

Don't give up. I don't think you are idealists at all, but you are dealing with some enthusiasts who are prepared to stand up for the brand and are not keen on criticism. So lets enjoy the Morgan experience, good or bad, and if anyone comes up with solutions to these niggles, then, lets listen and learn.
